If you haven’t tried Personal Best Salon you have to try it. They are so pleasant at the front desk and have some many professional hairdressers. Mine is Caitlyn Figgins! She listens to what you want, ask questions, very caring & personal & has a great personality. She is great and never had an issue with my hair. My daughter absolutely loves her as her hairdresser. She knows her hair!!

Huge spa not overcrowded at all! Maybe to have some sort of locker room area closer to where massage rooms are to be able to leave clothes etc. or a larger sitting area pre or post massage to sit and relax. Enjoyed it very much for my first time and felt KerryAnn did a great job

I came in and saw Terri today for a consultation regarding a color correction from a stylist at a different salon!!! I’m so glad I chose personal best utopia TERRI IS AMAZING!!!! I will tell you she gives an excellent consultation. We went over everything she’s very very professional, friendly funny I can’t say enough things about her, she has found herself a new client. I had a bad experience with that stylus last week at the other salon, and I have been very depressed. Terri has nade me feel snd look better. If I can, I’d like to give her 10 stars Thank you again Terri. Utopia!!!! Excellence

Front desk was very accommodating, they fit me in for a same day hair appointment. Terri assessed what I needed and fixed an overgrown unflattering cut in no time. I feel so much better. Can’t wait to try out the products she recommended and return to try out the spa!

I throughly enjoyed my services - I did a custom spa package made up of a massage, facial, and pedicure. I even treated myself to lunch! Lorna, Jamie, and Lauren B (especially her) were absolutely fantastic! Everything was perfect…until I was about to leave and had to listen to one of the employees joke with his client about how he didn’t understand why the world was just so PC nowadays and then casually joke around using racial slurs that were offensive and not at all amusing. I wish I had taken the time to tell him that there’s a difference between being politically correct and being racist. I didn’t appreciate having to hear him tell clients about why comics can’t use the term “chink” and then use it himself in a joke. For this reason I would never recommend the salon to my friends or family in the future. He had no idea I was standing there - should it matter if he did? - no person of color should ever have to worry about going to a place of peace and relaxation and have to worry about hearing racial slurs or jokes being made using them.

This was my first time getting a massage here and I already booked the next one. In times of Covid this salon has made wonderful use of the space they have. It is definitely safer than any store or restaurant. Polite and helpful as well.

This was my 1st time at Personal Best. I think the salon is beautiful. Brenda at the front desk was so welcoming and sweet to start. She paired me with Terri. I booked a facial over the phone and told them I wanted the retinol one. The girl didn’t want to take that info so when I got to my facial appt(which was 15 min late) the girl said she had me down for something else. We discussed and she had to look in her phone for info on the facials even though she said she had been there for years! I then mentioned it being 75 minutes and she said no, all facials are 60 minutes. I said it was on the website. I asked her to take care of milia and she said she doesn’t do that. Every other facial I ever had milia was taken care of. I asked if she addresses the décolletage area and she said no, you pay extra for that. She left the room twice during my appt for about 15 min each time, which was strange to me ( never had that happen before); one time she said she was checking on the 75 min time and left me with steamer going and the other time she put retinol on my face and left. At other places, they would massage arms, feet, etc while waiting for treatments to be absorbed. Don’t get me wrong, she was nice, but this was very different from what I have encountered at other places.

I was very excited to try this place out however I have been let down due to the quality of the work. My finger nails were not trimmed to be the same size and one of them is even crooked. Bam, Donna fixes it every time. I have had Donna cut my hair for maybe 30 years. She is 40 minutes away and still worth the trip. Not a hair cutter but a master stylist.trust me, she works magic.

Yesterday was my first experience with airbrush tanning - I was SO nervous and super self conscious! Catie was so sweet and put my nerves at ease. She made me feel very comfortable and talked me through the whole thing. I followed her directions explicitly and after I stepped out of the shower this morning, I was so pleased with the result. No more pasty white skin, just a nice healthy glow! I will likely be back once a week so I can maintain this color all summer. Thank you, Catie! - Marcy xo
